Ever
wonder how the next generation of kids are going to make it through
to adulthood, given the current moral and spiritual climate in this
country? Want to work with a team of people to do something about
it that's effective, right in your own community? If so – we'd
love to talk with you! K-Life is committed to pursuing every opportunity
that the Lord presents us, to partner with parents and other community
leaders who are concerned about the current state of today's youth
culture.
Getting K-Life started in your community involves the following
four ingredients:
1
PRAYER
"Unless
the Lord builds the house, we labor in vain." We can
do more after we've prayed, but nothing of significance until
we've prayed. True change in the hearts of students will come
only when we are willing to bow our knees before the Father, and
intercede on their behalf.
2
COMMITTED COUPLES, FROM THE COMMUNITY
We've learned that when God puts a burden in the hearts
of a few, He delights to team them with others to whom He has
given that same calling. Since a board of directors comprising
of 10-12 couples governs each local chapter, a network of parental
support from throughout the community is essential to fulfilling
the task of getting K-Life started and active at the local level.

A POTENTIALLY STRONG VOLUNTEER BASE
As we say in the "What is K-Life?" section
of this web page, our ministry focus is on "small group"
relational time with kids. Since every group needs a leader, and
because our desire is to truly keep the groups small in number
(6-10 kids), it follows that K-Life can only grow in proportion
to the available leader base. Cities that have colleges in or
nearby their community are prime targets for our future growth.

A COMMUNITY-WIDE VISION
Our heart is to work with kids on a community-wide scale, challenging
and networking them in a way that gives them a broader understanding
of and appreciation for the Kingdom of God.

If
what you've just read strikes a chord in your heart, we'd love
to visit further with you. Who knows? Perhaps God wants to use
you to be the one who starts the process of building a team that
will have a lasting, eternal impact on hundreds of teenagers from
your community.
Our starting dates traditionally fall on September 1st. In order
to make the necessary preperations for the launch, decisions on
who we partner with are made six months earlier by March 1st.
The
next step after walking through the four mentioned above, is to
fill out one of the below cards.
